Last week the studio was closed to members so that the staff could learn some new techniques and catch up on things they can’t do when the studio is busy.
This is an essential time as once learnt, staff can pass on new skills to members.
I was in the studio on Monday so that I could have a go at making some seeded paper, something we would like to make as part of our gardening project.
I have never made paper before but was delighted with the end results and can’t wait to pass on these new skills.
The studio was a hub of creativity with various things happening, including decorating ceramic tiles. Once perfected, this is hopefully going to be a future project for members to be involved in.
