Autumn Workshop Series – Eco Printed and Stitched Silks with Jane Hunter

Join experienced tutor and textile artist, Jane Hunter, in this warm and encouraging workshop. Working in our fully equipped studio in Oswestry town centre, Jane will take you through her unique process of eco-printing. You will hand print and colour silk with foraged leaves, learning the very basics of how to harness nature within your textile prints. Once the fabric is dry, you will use the fabric you have to made to create a cover and inserts for a needle case. Hand stitched embroidery along with embellishments will be used to decorate the fabric. At the end of the day, you will have a unique hand stitched needle case to take home and treasure. This workshop is suitable for everyone, from absolute beginners.
