This week we’ve got an invitation to extend to you, our lovely blog readers, plus anyone looking to support us and make a start on that Christmas gift list.
Come and join us for our upcoming Bazaar for festive evenings, in the Designs in Mind Shop, Cross Street, Oswestry.
You are welcome to pop in for a mince pie, try your hand at printing a Christmas card, browse our selection of gifts, homeware, hand-carved wooden implements, clothing and cards and much more. All are made or designed in our studio by local people, our members.
We’ll be on hand to help you choose the perfect meaningful festive gift. Maybe you’ll find something to gift yourself too because you deserve to! I’ve always bought myself a festive gift as it’s an act of self-care and self love, a thank you to myself for another year of wellness and making life meaningful.
Here in our studio our members get so much out of being involved with Designs in Mind, from planning, creating, making and producing ambitious, experimental art and design projects.
Part of our ethos is, that we believe design has the power to positively affect how we feel, not only in how it looks but also through the experience of making. So your also supporting the ongoing wellbeing of our 100 plus members.
By supporting our shop, your supporting local adults with mental health challenges. Your purchases will also be helping us to become more self sustaining, something we are constantly striving towards, as much of our funding takes time to secure.
We’ve be working hard all year round, just like Santa’s Elves in our studio, designing and making high quality products for our local community and beyond.
We also have an online shop should you find it difficult to get into town, so you can browse and order our products from the comfort of your own home: http://designsinmind.co.uk/shop-1
We will be open on the evening’s of:
Thursday – 16th November 2023
Friday – 1st December 2023 from 5pm – 7.30pm.
Both evening’s are free entry with no need to book.
We look forward to seeing you there.
