Christmas Sale 2015

Retail News
14 December 2015

On the 4th and 5th of December we held our latest Christmas Sale- and yet again it was a huge success.

Over the two days we made £2674.00 and we are still counting as people pop in to make their last minute Christmas buys. The raffle is due to be drawn on the 15th of December and we expect to make over £1000 in raffle tickets sales to add to our total.

Members of Designs in Mind have been involved in all aspects of retail development- creating designs through collage, printing and mark making. Designing, constructing and embellishing products through embroidery, screen- printing, glazing, applique, paper cutting, fusing glass, glass design with paints and frits, and using recycled materials.

We have even been sent some pictures of people using their products at home.

Dave has sent in a picture of the cermaic vase he bought, adding some colour to the kitchen, Lynda has put her tea towel on the wall as it is too nice to use! And Catherine enjoys a cup of tea from her ceramic cup…

Our most popular products included the lampshades, wooden christmas baubles, tea towels, stationary and glass dog brooches.

We have already started making plans for next years retail development and we welcome any ideas you have:

Elin and Catherine are attending Top Drawer in London in January- Home, gifts, craft and fashion trade fair

We will hold our Christmas Sale as a pop up shop in a new venue in Oswestry next year on a Saturday

We will be developing a new range of products that will retail for under £10.00

We are aiming to sell our products on ‘Not on the High Street’ from January

Thank you for all your support and we wish you a very merry Christmas
