Not for profit design studio smashing the stigma of mental health in Shropshire and Beyond
Unlocking potential through Art & Design
We are a working design studio, tucked away in Shropshire, where adults living with mental health challenges work together on ambitious, experimental art and design projects. The work that our Members create is developed into beautiful products, art for spaces, and commercial design collaborations.
Our studio is a hive of activity, there are close to 100 of us and we believe that design has the power to positively affect how we feel, particularly through the experience of making.
We are more than just design.
We believe in Art & Design for Social Change
Creative purpose is at the heart of what we do – raising confidence whilst uplifting and connecting people. Through practical workshops, art projects, and skill-building programs, we empower individuals to exceed expectations and live full and meaningful lives.
The transformative impact of creativity extends far beyond our studio walls, influencing perceptions of mental health, promoting understanding, and fostering a more inclusive society.
All of our work is begun in our studio in Oswestry by our talented designer-makers. Buying our products or collaborating with us for your public art or design project helps us to continue to provide community-based mental health support to people in need.

We are not art therapists or mental health professionals – instead we focus on the benefits of the act of creating on wellbeing, and on being a warm and friendly environment where people can talk and be heard.

Shropshire Mental Health Support
We make high quality, ambitious artwork that makes people say “Wow!” We have worked on exciting design collaborations with national homeware companies, public art projects in Shropshire, and handmade items that tell a story.
Collaborating with us supports our aim to make better mental health a priority, and helps us to create new opportunities for the people we support.
We would love to work with you to create something new – whether it’s transforming a space, creating modern and colourful surface designs, or making a unique one-off item, we want you to feel excited about working with us.
